We didn't start MonkeyTricks to make clothes.
We started it because the clothes we wanted didn't exist at a price that made sense.
Started
from nothing.
Built on
attitude.
It was 2021. The founder was done scrolling through brand after brand selling the same recycled graphics for ₹1,500–₹2,000 a piece — clothes that looked bold in photos and fell apart after three washes.
Good streetwear in India existed. Affordable good streetwear didn't. It was either cheap and forgettable, or expensive and imported. There was nothing in between that actually had a point of view.
So from Dadra and Nagar Haveli — not Mumbai, not Delhi, not Bangalore — MonkeyTricks was born. No funding. No fashion school. Just a stubborn belief that your clothes should say something, and they shouldn't cost you a week's budget to do it.
Four years later, we're still here. Still making the same bet: that there are people out there who care about what they wear but refuse to be ripped off for it.

Unisex by default
Style doesn't have a gender. Every piece we make is cut for anyone who wants to wear it. We're not making a "women's line" or a "men's range." There's just MonkeyTricks.
Price is a statement
₹499 isn't a discount. It's a decision. We chose to make streetwear that a college student in a tier-2 city can actually buy. That's not a compromise — that's the whole point.
Graphics with intent
Nothing goes on a MonkeyTricks tee by accident. Floral Bones. Wake Up. Human Being. Every design is a statement you're choosing to put on your chest. Wear it if it's yours.

We live in a country where fashion trends get handed down from someone else's culture, filtered through celebrity endorsements, and sold back to us at a price that assumes we're desperate to belong.
MonkeyTricks was never about belonging. It was about the opposite — wearing something because it reflects who you actually are, not who you're supposed to be.
The oversized fit isn't a trend for us. It's a refusal to be uncomfortable to look "appropriate." The graphics aren't random — they're the things we actually think about. The price isn't a gimmick — it's respect.
